Raw Cuisine Workshops are being offered at the Cedar Springs Renewal Center in Sedro Woolley!

• Enjoy hands on experience in the kitchen
  

There is a 'Journey into Raw' workshop this coming Saturday (March 1st, 2008). The cost of the 1-day workshop is $150 which includes all instruction, meals, and snacks. The following schedule is a description for the 1-day workshops:

March 1: Journey into Raw (Integrate more raw foods into your life with simple, quick tips and recipes for any lifestyle)
June 7: Breakfasts and Lunches (Develop your skills in making delicious raw breakfasts and lunches)
June 21: Dinners and Desserts (Learn the knack at making beautiful dinners followed by outstanding desserts)

There are also 3-day workshops in the coming year which will be more extensive, costing $395. This includes 2 nights and 3 days of classes and meals in addition to offering Cedar Springs spa amenities. These workshops will be focused on becoming more connected with our food, embracing our creativity, and integrating more ritual and spirituality (non-secular) into our relationships with food. These are the dates and topics for the 3-day workshops:

April 25-27: The Sacred Art of Raw Cuisine (learning how to let go and begin empowering your relationship to your food and spirit)
August 1-3: Harvesting the Light (embrace new ways to create abundance while you reconnect with the earth's rhythm)
November 21-23: Holiday Foods (tap into your creativity and explore infinite possibilities with the holidays and the food you offer/eat)

There is also one 5-day workshop that is entitled "Raw Lifestyle Intensive" which will be focused on using more superfoods in the dishes, as well as making the dishes gourmet. This week-long event will hold space for a holistic approach to living foods and the lifestyle options that come with becoming more aware, such as physical activities, community focus, supporting green businesses and local farmers, and immersing yourself and your mind into the world of possibilities as opposed to the fear-based perspectives that create scarcity.

The cost of this 5-day event is $870 and includes all room and board, meals, classes, and spiritual awakening that may occur!
The date: September 9-14th.

**All of these workshops are available to anyone who is interested. There is always a possibility to work-trade some of the tuition. Directions to Cedar Springs
From I-5, take exit 231 at Burlington. Take Highway 20 east (North Cascades Hwy) go approximately 4.1 miles, turn right (south) on Hwy 9. Go about 1.5 miles and cross the bridge over the Skagit River. Take first right onto S. Skagit Hwy. Go about 8 miles. Turn left on Walberg. When the road makes a very sharp right, go straight onto Barben Rd. When Barben makes a very sharp right, go straight into our driveway.
